Who we are
Ella is a shared baby journal made by Muchita AI. These terms apply to the Ella apps for Android and Wear OS, the iPhone app when it is released, the web companion at ella.muchita.ai and this website. By starting or joining a journal you agree to them.
Who Ella is for
Ella is for adults: parents and anyone who looks after the baby. Children do not open accounts.
Your journal
What you record is yours. You let us store and process it only to run Ella for you and your family, as the privacy policy describes. Entries are visible to everyone you invite to the journal, so invite only people you trust, and share only content you have permission to share.
Ella itself
The Ella apps, website, design and name belong to Muchita AI. You may use them to keep your family's journal; please do not copy, resell or reverse-engineer them. The entries you add remain yours.
Sharing rules
Be respectful to each other. Do not share illegal content, content showing sexual exploitation or abuse, or threats and harassment, and do not share other people's private information without permission. You can report content from inside the app. We may remove content, or suspend an account, that breaks these rules or the law.
Not medical advice
Ella describes what you record, including charts, WHO growth percentiles and summaries, and does not recommend care. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. For medical questions, talk to your pediatrician or another health professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Price
Ella is free to start and has no ads. Some features may become paid in the future. We will always show the price before you pay anything, and we will never charge for access to entries you already recorded, for exporting them or for deleting your data. People who joined the Android early access, and the partner they nominated, keep full access for life.
Availability
We work to keep Ella running and your journal safe, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Muchita AI is not liable for indirect losses from using Ella. These terms do not limit any rights you have under the consumer protection law where you live.
Ending and deleting
You can stop using Ella at any time and delete your account and data from the app's settings. A journal owner can delete the whole journal.
Changes
When these terms change, we update this page and its date. We tell you in the app about changes that matter to how you use Ella.
