Our commitment

We want every parent and caregiver to be able to use Ella, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard, large text or high contrast. This website and the Ella web companion aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA and the Israeli Standard SI 5568.

What we did

Pages work with a keyboard and show where the focus is. Images have text alternatives. Text keeps readable contrast and reflows when enlarged up to 200%. Pages read right to left in Hebrew and Arabic. The film has captions and never plays on its own, and motion is reduced when your device asks for it. In the Android app, every button has a spoken label, text follows the phone's font size and the quick buttons keep large touch targets.

Conformance and testing

We believe this website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 level AA: most pages meet it, with the known limitations below. We last checked it on 28 September 2026 with automated tests (axe-core) on every page type in all four languages, keyboard-only navigation, and layouts at phone width and at 200% zoom.

Known limitations

Growth and daily charts are drawn as images. Their exact values are available as text next to the chart when you select a day or a point. If something is hard to use, please tell us.
