Wet, dirty or both

Ella keeps diapers simple: wet, dirty, or wet and dirty, each one tap. The time is filled in for you, and you can edit it if you log a change a bit later. That is usually all a day's log needs.

When details matter

Some days you want more: a poop color, or a note that there is a diaper rash. Both are optional on a diaper entry, so they are there when you want them and out of the way when you don't. They also appear in the PDF summary on Android.

Counting without counting

At the end of a long day nobody remembers how many diapers there were. Charts show wet and dirty diapers per day, and Today shows the time since the last change, so the question "how many today?" has an answer in a second.

A diaper change, one-handed

One hand on the baby, one hand free: tap Wet, Dirty or Wet & dirty on the widget before you reach for the new diaper. The time is filled in, and the counter at the top of Today resets.

When the pediatrician asks about diapers

Check-ups often include a question about diapers. The daily chart has the count for each day, and on Android the PDF summary lists it with any colors and rashes you noted. You describe what happened; the pediatrician interprets it.

Sharing diaper duty

When two parents share changes, each logs from their own phone. The journal shows who changed which diaper, and the time since the last change is the same on every phone.

The first days home

In the first days, many parents are asked to keep an eye on diapers. A tap per change is enough; the chart does the counting, and your pediatrician or nurse interprets it.

Night changes without the light on

At night, the widget buttons are large enough to hit in the dark, and night mode keeps the screen dim while you log.

The changing-table routine

Put the phone where you can reach it from the changing table, or add the widget to your home screen. One tap after the change is all it takes, and the counter for the last diaper resets for everyone.
